To get a tax invoice for your taxi ride, you need to request it directly from the driver at the end of the service. The driver, being an independent carrier with their own VAT number, is the only one who can issue the invoice for the transportation service.

If you’re a business and want an automatic and centralized solution for invoice management, you can consider subscribing to a subscription agreement.

Once the request is finished, click on “Confirm and call now”. appTaxi will connect to the radio taxi center and request the nearest available taxi to your position. Calling a taxi with appTaxi is simple:

  1. Open appTaxi, check the detected address or enter your pickup location and, if you like, add your destination too.

    • The destination isn’t mandatory, but it can be useful to get an estimated fare for the ride.

    • payment method
    • taxi features (e.g. accessible vehicle, pet-friendly)
    • notes for the driver
  3. Request your taxi.

Once your request is received, appTaxi finds the nearest available taxi through our local partner and gives you the arrival time, taxi ID, license plate, and assigned vehicle.

Enter the starting address and destination and click on “Book”. Decide the date and time of your request and click on “Confirm”. Click on “Next” and proceed with the configuration of your ride with the necessary information. To book a ride in advance, you must have registered a valid payment method.

Commonly known as a “booking”, it is actually a “deferred activation call”, meaning the taxi request is entered, and then assigned to the nearest driver, about ten minutes before the time requested by the customer. The taximeter takes this time into account.

To delete your account and erase all your data from appTaxi, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Menu → Profile and delete your profile — all registered payment methods will also be automatically removed
  2. Uninstall the app

Within 30 days, all your data will be deleted from our servers.

⚠️ This action is irreversible. Before proceeding, make sure you don’t have any pending rides.

appTaxi operates in compliance with Law No. 21/92, which regulates access to taxi services and prohibits the pre-assignment of rides to a specific driver. For this reason, the scheduled request feature works differently from a simple direct booking.

You indicate the pickup location, desired time, and any notes. This information is saved in the dispatch system without being assigned to any taxi driver. At the appropriate time—calculated in advance by proprietary algorithms—the request is entered into the regular ride flow, making it available to all drivers on duty at that moment.

As soon as a taxi accepts the ride, you receive an immediate notification with the vehicle code and estimated minutes to arrival.

Of course. From the Menu, go to your profile and fill in the VAT Number field. Once saved, it will automatically appear on all digital receipts you receive via email for rides paid in-app. This will be useful for business accounting and expense reporting.

Once registered, you can immediately request a taxi.

In appTaxi, each account is linked to the mobile number used during registration, which cannot be changed directly.
To use a different mobile number in appTaxi, you need to create a new account:

  1. Go to Menu → Profile
  2. Delete your current account
  3. Register again with your new phone number

Using the service

How do I use the service?

Generate a voucher in appTaxi in the appropriate section. Communicate the five-digit code obtained to the taxi driver at the time of payment. The voucher will certify the authorization not to pay for the ride on board and to bill it to your company’s account.

How to pay for a ride?

The customer with an agreement can request a taxi with the appTaxi app: during the payment phase, select the Business account, specify the Charge code if necessary to detail the report further, and automatically charge the amount of the ride directly to the corporate account.
