The press conference for the official launch of ITN Italian Taxi Network was held yesterday at the headquarters of the Foreign Press Association in Milan, whom we thank for their hospitality.
The three app presidents, Stefano Salzani of appTaxi, Claudio Giudici of TaxiMove, and Riccardo Carboni of BTaxi, took part, and the meeting was moderated by Andrew Spannaus, an American journalist and political analyst for Radio24, whom we thank for his availability and participation.
ITN Collaboration and innovation
The new synergy officially kicks off with a strong and committed spirit of collaboration among the main players in the Italian taxi service. As we’ve said, it’s a project born from the cooperation between taxi drivers and platforms, with the goal of combining entrepreneurial vision and respect for work, while promoting innovation in the sector.
Goals and strengths
As highlighted by the speakers, the common goal is to offer a service that is increasingly efficient and accessible to users. “In a reality like the taxi world,” Salzani pointed out, “this is concrete proof of collaboration, confirming how strong the commitment is to driving an evolution made of innovative services.”
One of ITN’s main strengths is the simplification of the user experience: thanks to the Network, already active in 51 Italian cities (with more joining soon), it will be possible to use your favorite app without having to download or register for new platforms depending on the city. A single app, the one chosen by the user, across the entire network.
The birth of ITN marks a transition defined by Giudici as a “historic partnership” that represents “the future of the taxi sector in Italy, offering citizens, tourists, and taxi drivers a perspective of simplicity, safety, and reliability—values that only the public taxi service can guarantee.”
Future prospects
In the spirit of sharing and growth, ITN is already looking to the future, with the goal of expanding the network to other cities, other taxi drivers, and new taxi driver apps, welcoming anyone who shares the same vision of evolution and service quality.
