A major step forward for urban mobility in Italy: Italian Taxi Network is born, an innovative synergy among the main applications of Italian taxi drivers. From today, thanks to the collaboration between appTaxi, BTaxi, and TaxiMove, it will be possible to call a taxi in 51 Italian cities without having to download a new application for each destination.
This ambitious project, entirely managed by industry workers and with over 2 million total downloads, relies on a network of nearly 6,500 taxi drivers and an annual ride volume exceeding 3.6 million, generating an economic movement of about 40 million euros. An initiative that marks a change of pace in the world of non-scheduled public transport, simplifying access to taxi service for citizens and tourists and strengthening the identity of an all-Italian sector.
Tomorrow, April 3 at 12:30 PM, the launch press conference will be held at the headquarters of the Foreign Press Association in Milan.
